The Caramelized Onion Cream Sauce on these Pork Cutlets is amazing! It imparts so much flavor on the dish it is hard to believe that it's so easy to make!

Ingredients

  • 750 g pork loin
  • 2 onions medium sized, peeled
  • 5 cloves garlic pressed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp Blend of 21 Spices
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 3 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Turn oven to 400F.
  2. Cut the pork loin to ¼ inch slices. Sprinkle each side with the blend of 21 spices, salt, pepper and smear some pressed garlic. Stack the slices on top of each other and let sit for 20 minutes.
  3. In a skillet with some oil quickly sear each side of the pork slices and place in a glass ovenproof dish.
  4. Cut the onion into half circles and caramelize in the same skillet that the pork cutlets were browned in with about 2 tablespoons of oil, about 10 minutes.

  5. Top the pork with the caramelized onion.
  6. Drizzle the cream all over the onion and the pork.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
