Heat skillet over medium heat with 3 tbsp oil, then add diced onions and saute until golden in color. Add crushed garlic, tomato sauce and the tomatoes, then simmer for about 10-15 minutes, reducing the sauce.
Bake at 400F, for 8-10 minutes. The cheese sticks might lose their shape a little, but that does not affect the taste, so enjoy!
