A simple fried rice recipe made in under 30 minutes great as a side dish and main course.
Rinse rice until the water runs clear. Bring 1.5 cup broth or meat stock to a boil. Season with salt. Add rice, cover with the lid and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook for about 15 minutes on low heat without removing the lid. Allow the water to completely evaporate. Leave the lid on for another 10 minutes after done cooking.
While on high heat, stir the rice and 1 Tbsp soy sauce and let it "fry" in the pan for about 3-5 minutes.
