Ingredients
  • 7 lb pork ribs about 3 racks
Dry Rub
  • 5 tablespoons dry ranch powder/seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon ground pepper
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • ½ tablespoon pickling spice
Homemade BBQ Sauce – make it while the ribs are cooking
Instructions
  1. Toss the ingredients for the dry rub together and stir.
  2. Sprinkle the dry rub all over the meat and press it in with your hands.
  3. Place ribs on a foil lined baking sheet, tightly cover the top with another sheet of aluminum foil encasing the ribs inside.
  4. Preheat oven oven to 450F and bake for 25 minutes, then turn heat down to 250F and cook for another 3 hours until the meat is easily pierced with a fork and comes off the bone. Remove the top foil and brush both sides of the ribs with the my Homemade BBQ sauce or another BBQ sauce of choice. Turn oven to broil for 5-7 minutes and allow to brown on both sides. Alternatively, transfer to grill and quickly grill on both sides for the char marks and smoky flavor.
