Ingredients
  • 6 large Russet or Golden Potatoes peeled & sliced
  • 1 + 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic pressed or powdered
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan/Gruyere/Mozzarella grated
  • 3 Tbsp fresh parsley chopped
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 475F.
  2. Sprinkle peeled & sliced potatoes with salt and toss together to coat.
  3. Arrange potatoes in ovenproof baking dish, like pictured above.
  4. Sprinkle 1 tsp garlic powder & freshly ground black pepper over the potatoes.

  5. Pour 1 cup heavy cream on top.

  6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
  7. Put in 475°F oven for 10 minutes.

  8. Turn the heat down to 400°F & bake for another 35-40 minutes.

  9. Once the potatoes are soft (prick with fork to test) remove foil, pour remaining 1/2 cup cream over potatoes & sprinkle with cheese.

  10. Turn oven to broil & allow the tops of the potatoes to brown up, about 4-5 minutes.
  11. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
Recipe Notes

*Cheese type can be substituted to your liking. Any good melting cheese will work fine for this dish.
