Simple potato recipe mad with bacon and a tangy BBQ sauce. This bacon-wrapped potato recipe is the best appetizer or side dish.
Toss potatoes with 2-3 tbsp BBQ sauce, 1/2 tsp garlic powder and 1/2-1 tsp salt together in a bowl or a ziplock bag until the potatoes are thoroughly coated.
Wrap each piece of potato with 1/2 strip of bacon, stretching it until the ends overlap. Secure the bacon with a toothpick (if you don’t, the bacon might slip off the potato or unwrap)and lay it on a parchment or foil-lined rimmed baking sheet bacon ends side down. Roast in the preheated to 375°F oven for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are easily pierced with a fork and the bacon is nicely crisped up. Serve right away with a choice of BBQ sauce, mayo & ketchup mixed together (1:1 ratio), sour cream sprinkled with salt or as is.
