Raspberry jam is made with only two ingredients and can be stored in the freezer or fridge for months. Use it to top pancakes, toast, crepes, ice cream or pudding.

  • 3 lbs raspberry
  • 3 lbs sugar
  • Clean & Dry Jars/plastic containers for storage with lids
  • Potato Masher or Mixer with Beater Blades
  1. In a large pot combine raspberries & sugar. Then, mash the raspberries with the potato masher completely breaking up the berries. Add the sugar in 1:1 ratio to raspberries, and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Alternatively, you can use mixer with beater blades to do the same thing. TIP: Make sure all the equipment is dry. Do not double dip, when trying to taste the jam. 
  2. If making freezer jam, you can make it more chunky and add only enough sugar to make it sweet to your taste. The pictures in the instructions show the chunkiness of freezer jam.
  3. Fill containers with jam & store in the refrigerator or freezer, depending on how much sugar was added.
