Strawberry Iced Tea Recipe
This sweet tea with strawberry is the perfect beverage to whip up when you want something refreshing, sweet, and completely guilt-free! This Splenda sweet tea recipe is one of my favorite drinks to make during the summer months when strawberries are in season.

Iced Tea Recipe
Strawberry season is in full swing here in the Pacific North West and I am delighted to use the sweet juicy strawberries in every possible way. I make an iced tea recipe of some kind for myself pretty much daily, but adding strawberries is kind of new to me. This iced tea recipe tastes like strawberry lemonade mixed with tea. Perfect combination, if you ask me!
Adding strawberries is a great way to add natural sweetness to this iced tea recipe, but sometimes it’s still not enough to get it to that perfect amount of sweetness. By using SPLENDA ZERO™ Liquid Sweetener you can add just enough, without adding sugar or calories.
I like the liquid version—it’s very easy to dissolve into whatever you are drinking (or baking!). The packets will work fine for this recipe too, however. By the way, did you know that the yellow packets often seen in the restaurants are not always SPLENDA® Brand? Make sure to ask for it by name.

How to Make Iced Tea: Tips and Ideas
If you have never made iced tea from scratch before, you’ll be amazed at how simple it is to do. Plus, making homemade iced tea tastes a million times better than anything you can buy in a jug or bottle. Honestly, the difference is night and day!
Here are some tips for learning how to make iced tea:
- Choose any berry you’d like. Obviously I went with strawberry, but raspberries would also work nicely.
- Make sure the water is boiling. The tea will not steep properly if the water isn’t boiling.
- The longer you steep the teabags, the stronger the tea. When you are learning how to make iced tea, one of the most important components is figuring out the proper strength of the tea. About five minutes seems right to me, but it will depend on how hot your water is, and your personal taste.
