Make-up Cake

Just a couple of shots, of the Make Up Cake I made. I think the most favorite part of the whole cake is the bristles’ on the brushes. What do you like about the cake?

This Make Up cake and cupcakes were supposed to resemble the make up from the MAC line. I used fondant that I colored with gel food safe dye to shape and create all the pieces for this set.

I strongly dislike coloring the fondant with dark colors like brown and black because it stains the hands and mouth really bad if it touches anything. But, since most of these pieces are probably not going to be eaten, it was ok.

This cupcake topper is supposed to resemble the eyeshadow and the brush.
